Robert Conquest's "Third Law" and the Labour party

The brilliant historian Robert Conquest, who died last year and during his life did more than almost anyone else to bring home to people the truth about the Soviet Union, once suggested that there are  "Three Laws of Politics" which are

1. Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.

2. Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.

3. The simplest way to explain the behaviour of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies

Nick Cohen tweeted today that the entire United Kingdom appears to be behaving in accordance with Robert Conquest's third law of politics.

Former Labour MP Robert Harris tweeted back

"Which, in the case of the Labour party, is literally true."

Look this is very simple.

The Shadow cabinet have gone AWOL. The SNP have gone insane. Farage having annoyed the hell out of the EU Parliament just after the vote, claimed his attendence fee now fled.

So please can Your lot stand up to it, I am hoping you can. But so far put forward is a candidate that seems to want to learn.

and the rest are so tainted by £350, and backstabbing that they are none contenders.

Party time is over, we have work to do.
