I was travelling back from a conference in Manchester and didn't see any of the live coverage - I knew it had been a great match from the radio commentary and from the replay extracts I saw when I arrived home.

But what I heard and saw was pretty brilliant.Chris Whitesidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02888720969479013951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10815380.post-3906784517332147812013-07-08T15:31:36.244+01:002013-07-08T15:31:36.244+01:00Was not happy about the BBC Schedule though. Only Highlights were shown later, and then very little of the actual race. Now i do understand that many people wanted to watch wimbledon, however would have been nice if they shown the Grand Prix on one of the other BBC channels the Telly tax payers are forced to pay for.

To add insult to injury, I tuned in to BBC 2 later that day for Top Gear, only to find they kept postponing the start time of that as the blooming wimbledon mixed doubles final (which very few people would care about) was over running its time slot. Could they not have cut to Top gear and went back to tennis highlights later? :)Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00373005279697295131noreply@blogger.com
