The Domestic abuse bill

The government announced today that a raft of new amendments to the Domestic Abuse Bill will be presented this week – delivering the support victims need to feel safer while further clamping down on abusers.

  • Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, this Government has done everything it can to protect everyone in this country – but we all know some communities are still particularly vulnerable.

  • This report shows that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution and that while outcomes have improved for some ethnic minority groups since the first wave there is still more to be done. The government will continue to take action at every step of this pandemic to ensure all communities and vulnerable people are protected.

  • The vaccine rollout is the light at the end of the tunnel, and as it continues, the NHS and the NHS, the government and medical experts are urging everyone who is offered one to take the opportunity, to protect themselves, their family, and their community by doing so. If you are in any doubt about whether a particular vaccine is right for you or your family, talk to an appropriate medical professional.
