Chris Whiteside is a Conservative activist who lives in Whitehaven in the Copeland constituency and borough with his wife and family. Chris was recently elected chairman of the Conservative party's Cumbria area. He was previously Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Copeland constituency in 2005 and 2010.
The NHS Trust which manages the acute hospitals in Whitehaven and Carlisle has been awarded a new title which includes the word University in recognition of the training work in these two hospitals. More details in article on my hospitals campaign blog - see link at right.
