Attended the exhibition today about the council's plans to redevelop Albion Square for offices, potentially providing 600 jobs in Whitehaven.

Chris Whiteside is the Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Copeland constituency, and was elected in May 2007 as one of the three councillors for Bransty ward in Copeland. He lives in the constituency with his wife and young family. Following Boundary changes the Conservatives need a swing of just over 6% to win the Copeland constituency.
