Chris Whiteside is the Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Copeland constituency, and was elected in May 2007 as one of the three councillors for Bransty ward in Copeland. He lives in the constituency with his wife and young family. Following Boundary changes the Conservatives need a swing of just over 6% to win the Copeland constituency.
An annoucement is expected today on which sites will be considered for New Nuclear Build. I hope and expect that land adjacent to Sellafield will be one of them. We will also hear what is proposed for Braystones and Kirksanton.
