Special meeting of Cumbria County Council

I will be attending a special meeting of Cumbria County Council tomorrow (24th June) which will be a physical meeting held in the Committee rooms of Cumbria House in Carlisle at 10am.

Because of COVID-19 regulations it is not possible for the entire council to meet so it has been agreed that a politically balanced but quorate sample  of members will attend to conduct some non-controversial but essential business.

The main item on the agenda is the appointment of a new chief executive for a two year term. The full agenda and supporting documents can be found on the council website here.

We have asked that the meeting should also  be livestreamed.
