The International Fund for Ukraine

The British government has agreed to expand support through the International Fund for Ukraine, as the UK continues to stand by Ukraine today, tomorrow and in the months to come.

  • Since the beginning of Putin’s barbaric and illegal invasion of Ukraine Britain has sent a clear message to the Kremlin: we will not tire and we will stand by Ukraine today, tomorrow and in the months to come.
  • That is why, alongside Denmark, Ukraine, and other key allies, we agreed to expand our International Fund for Ukraine – announcing that Britain will put £250 million of the recently announced £1 billion fund to provide military equipment and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This support comes as the UK confirmed that we will send further multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine, alongside a significant number of precision guided M31A1 missiles.
  • This money will create a steady flow of support for Ukrainian forces – maintaining and repairing existing resources whilst maximising Ukraine’s effectiveness on the battlefield.
