Time to send Ukraine Main Battle Tanks
A number of European countries including Britain are considering supplying the Ukrainian army with modern Main Battle Tanks.
Poland and France are pushing for joint action in which several countries would supply the German made Leopard II main battle tank to Ukraine, and are particularly keen to persuade Germany to take part in the move. Britain is reportedly considering sending a squadron's worth of Challenger II main battle tanks to the Ukrainian army.

I believe we should do this as soon as the Ukrainians can be trained to use them - and they have shown that they are quick learners. In terms of helping Ukraine without taking any further risk of escalating the conflict, if NATO countries between us provide Ukraine with a hundred or so MBTs could not credibly be presented by the most alarmist Russian propagandist as giving Ukraine the ability to invade Russia's pre-2014 territory, but it could make a big difference in enabling them to counter-attack against Russian forces invading their own country.
