New green apprenticeships
Today it was announced that six green apprenticeships are to be marked with the Coronation emblem in recognition of their sustainability credentials, honouring the King while ensuring young people have the skills of the future, all while growing the economy.
- As Britain works towards our net zero goals, it has never been more important to prioritise green skills.
- That is why the government has picked six green apprenticeships to mark the Coronation. The official Coronation emblem will be used by employers and government to promote them. They include training to be a low Carbon Heating Technician, a Sustainability Business Specialist and a Countryside Worker.
- These apprenticeships are encouraging more people to take up the opportunity to gain the skills to build a career in the green industry while delivering on the Prime Minister’s priority to boost economic growth.
