Momentum remove non-violence from their code of ethics
Apparently the Labour party's hard-left Corbynista fan club Momentum has adopted an ethics code.
And according to the Guardian, Momentum have modified that code when they adopted it to take out a proposed commitment to non-violence.
The original draft code stated that
“Momentum is wholly committed to working for progressive political change through methods which are inclusive, participatory and nonviolent.”
The words "and nonviolent" were removed when the code was adopted.
Whatever excuse they use for this change I cannot see the group which currently controls a majority of votes on the National Executive Committee of Britain's main opposition party explicitly deciding not to make a commitment to nonviolence as anything other than a worrying development.

but over the last few years its went from no platform, to hatred, right the way to vandalism to property and public buildings, and now its ended in violence.
Often I am accused of being "tory scum" on social media, somthing that washes like water from a ducks back of course, but when i point out I am not a tory, and am not a member of the conservative party, that sort of part their brain and its like "does not compute" so the usual answer is you walk like one, talk like one so are one. I have even been called a "white supremacist" as I dont agree with the minimum wage :)
I just seem to find it is the people who make up groups like momentum that cant stand up to debate, so instead they turn to balaclava type protests, croud attacks on speakers, grafitti, and now violence. And of course its the people who disagree with them who are literally Hitler.
I do often wonder if its so good why dont they just move to North Korea, Kimmy would love to have them.
That was precisely the starting point which led the Nazis and the KGB in the direction which ended with all the people they murdered. As it is for those in Myanmar/Burma today who are massacring Rohinga people.
I think it was Yoda in Star Wars Episode one who said
"Fear leads to Anger; Anger leads to hate; Hate leads to suffering."
