The Million Hours Fund
Applications opened today for the first £3 million of the Million Hours Fund, giving young people more access to youth services, allowing them to reach their full potential and anti-social behaviour.
- Youth services give young people somewhere safe to go with engaging activities and role models they can look up to – helping them to avoid bad life choices.
- That is why the government has created the Million Hours fund, for which applications for the first £3 million of money opens today, for schemes to help youth services in anti-social behaviour hotspots provide more access to sports, arts and opportunities to develop skills this summer.
- Following the launch of our Anti-social Behaviour Action Plan in March, this funding – backed by an overall investment of more than £500 million, including the Youth Investment Fund – will help support young people in need and keep our streets safe.
