Yes, this symphony is sometimes called "Elvira Madigan" because this second movement was used in the 1967 film by that name.
I don't mean to insult the film, but Mozart's timeless music will long outlast it, and I think people now remember the film because its' name was sometimes used to identify this piece rather than the other way around!
