Boosting UK/India trade and opportunities

The government has launched a campaign, "Alive with Opportunity," to build Britain's relationship with India to boost trade and grow the economy.

  • India is the UK’s second biggest source of investment projects and we both share an ambition to deepen our cultural and trading ties.
  • That is why the UK government is launching Alive with Opportunity, a £1.5 million marketing campaign designed to build on the UK and India’s strong relationship. The Trade Secretary will attend the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting in Jaipur before flying to New Delhi for a parallel business-focused Business 20 summit.
  • This campaign is part of our ambition to double trade with India by 2030 and stimulate interest and demand for UK goods and services, attracting new investment and helping to grow the economy.
