FIVE DAYS TO GO AND STILL TOO CLOSE TO CALL

Five days until the general and local elections.

Some signs of the Conservatives pulling a whisker ahead of Labour but everything still extremely close with another hung parliament very possible.

There is a slim chance of a small Conservative majority: a Labour majority is mathematically possible but unless the polls are way out, especially in Scotland, I cannot see it happening.

I think we are looking at very close results in both the parliamentary and local elections here in Copeland. The Stephen Haraldsen for Copeland campaign has had a LOT of support and we have had a very friendly reception on the doorstep: I also think Labour support in Copeland is as soft as I can remember it at any time except 2009 which was their low point of the last parliament.
The same applies to my campaign to be Mayor of Copeland.

In 2013 I was one of two candidates who missed election by just 13 votes: we were out campaigning today in Millom with one candidate who in 2005 had won an election by just two votes. Two years later in 2007 the defeated candidate in that election was even less fortunate, losing his town council seat by just one vote.

This proves that even a single vote can make all the difference. And this time every vote could count. Whatever you want to see in Copeland or for Britain, make sure you vote - this is your opportunity to have your say and it really could make the difference.

The conservative party in copeland should hang their heads in shame. They did nothing about the bedroom tax when hard working copeland councillors were out in the cold shivering in protest. What were you doing?

How dare the conservatives and their two faced lies threaten our future. We know exactly what you've been up to. WHILE WE have been fighting for the hospital YOU have been running around with idiots plotting to destroy our area. You wouldent come to our meetings WOULDENT COME councillors were invted many times. When you did not come we were shown why. Now we know you would rather serve the stakeholders of companies than your very own citizens who guard the hospital. Citizenship is a two way process.

If I had written anything as riddled with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and factual inaccuracies as the post above, I certainly would hang my head in shame.

To post this once would be bad enough. But five times!

Tell me, are you a Central Office plant with instructions to post things which are really, really stupid and make it look like a Labour supporter had done it in order to discredit Labour activists?

Because if you had been trying to do that you would have succeeded admirably.
