The 2021 Brit awards
The government has announced that the 2021 BRIT Awards ceremony will go ahead with a live audience as part of the programme of trials for the safe return of large events, taking us one step closer to a summer of live music and sport that we can all enjoy.
- Britain continues to take steps to getting back to doing the things we love, whether that’s meeting friends and loved ones, or attending live sport and music.
- The 2021 BRIT Awards ceremony has been added to the Events Research Programme, and with attendee testing and controlled settings, this pilot will further trial approaches to managing and mitigating transmission risks at events, reuniting live audiences with the best of British talent while providing a vital opportunity to see how we can get large crowds back safely as soon as possible.
- The return of live audiences is fantastic news for the music industry as we begin to welcome crowds back safely this summer.
