Supporting Cultural venues
The government is boosting cultural venues across the country with £48 million in new funding, levelling up access to art and powering economic growth through culture.
- Everyone should be able to access culture no matter where they live – and our cherished institutions also need to be protected for generations to come.
- That is why the Conservtive government announced at the weekend £48 million in new funding for galleries, museums, libraries and other cultural venues as part of our Cultural Investment Fund – supporting more than 60 organisations across the country like Bletchley Park and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
- This builds on our £75 million boost to level up access to arts and culture – making sure that art can be enjoyed by everyone no matter where they live and protecting our cultural institutions for future generations.
