Chris, this is the bottom line. The people got tired of asking so we were telling, cut fuel duty by 3p mr osborne. He chose to ignroe the people, and well what do you expect? still it will mean an even lower tunout at the EU elections

Cutting fuel duty is certainly on the list of things I would have liked to see but as you have rightly pointed out in the past, the deficit is still frighteningly high and it is essential to cut it a lot further. That limits the number of things G.O. could do

it has been shown time and again that a cut in fuel duty would actually help with deficit reduction.

Thats right, its not only a "no cost to the exchequer" option, its actually a "more to the exchequer" option
