January meeting of Cumbria County Council
The January meeting of Cumbria County Council will take place on Thursday 11th January at 10am at County Hall in Kendal.
The agenda can be found online here.
Apart from the usual boilerplate - roll call (yes, they actually start with a roll call), minutes of previous meeting, questions and petitions from the public and from councillors etc, the agenda includes
1) Minutes of the council cabinet meetings on 23rd November and 21st December
2) Review of the Council constitution
* Main item under this is a review of the contract and tender arrangements - which given the debacle over the recent court case is an extremely good idea
3) Minimum Revenue Provision policy
4) Annual report of the Pensions board of Cumbria Fire Service
5) Report on decisions taken under the urgency procedure.
