Darkest Hour Oscar
I am pleased that Gary Oldman won an "Best Actor" Oscar for his performance as Winston Churchill in "The Darkest Hour."
It was a very powerful performance in a powerful film which, while not perfectly historically accurate, did show something important about what a difficult time Britain and the world went through in 1940 and how we got through it.
