An unintended irony ....
I am astonished that someone in the employ of the European parliament actually used the words
"choose your future or somebody else will"
in their publicity encouraging people to register to vote in the European Parliament elections.
Unless they are deliberately winding Leave voters up - which would not appear to make any sense - the people who approved the use of this slogan must have a completely tin ear to how it will come over, particularly for these particular elections, to the 17.4 million people who voted for Brexit and expected that, far from electing another back of MEPs, we would have left by now.

We did choose our future, and voted accordingly, and somebody else is still trying to choose it for us."
