We all know the importance of certainty for businesses, particularly as we look to the new year, so it is only right that the government should enable businesses to plan ahead regardless of the path the virus takes – safeguarding jobs and businesses across the nation.
By extending the furlough scheme until the end of April 2021 and extending the government-guaranteed Covid-19 business loan schemes until the end of March the Chancellor has provided the certainty and clarity businesses need.
