Quote of the day 23rd March 2014

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."

I must admit the thought of Ed Milliband obtaining the keys to 10 Downing st, fills me with terror. it really does.

The thing is the thought of David Cameron retaining the keys does not exactly fill me with glee, ok its the least worst option perhaps, but its hardly a good place to be.

I know the safest way to save the country is to vote tory. But that poses a much more important question - "who should govern britain?" - my answer of course would be "the sovereign british people".

There is perhaps some merit in the saying "you cant create a new system until you have successfully destroyed the old"

thing is a Labour victory in 2015 would be the fast path option to destruction, rather than our current "slow train" route to the bottom. Also it would be a much shorter time window to create a new system, one that's fit for purpose.
