Family hubs now open in 75 area to help the vulnerable

Yesterday the government announced that Family Hubs are now open in 75 areas, giving parents across England access to the free help and support they need.

  • Family hubs act as one-stop-shops and provide a universal offer, giving parents extra support when they need it. This is a major landmark in our Family Hubs roll-out, backed by around £300 million of investment, with all 75 local authorities involved in the Government scheme now offering access to a centre.
  • Family Hubs build on our commitment to families through our extended 30 hours of free childcare from nine months old up to when their child starts school by September 2025, giving working families vital support and securing a brighter future for our children.
