“Courage is a special kind of knowledge: the knowledge of how to fear what ought to be feared and how not to fear what ought not to be feared.”

Funny that should come up. the other day my mortgage advisor asked me to send some documents. docs were

- Last 3 months Pay slips, for both of you
- Last P60's for both of you
- Last 3 months Bank statements for both of you
- both drivers licences (card and paper part)
- Both passports
- further proof of address for both of you (i.e utility bill)

then she asked if i had a scanner it would be best to e-mail her them.

Now that there should strike fear into the heart of anyone with any common sense. Its all fine sending her these docs, nothing strange there, just not by insecure e-mail. Anyone reading this really should take my advise here, that lot is an identity thieves dream, so if you are ever asked for this kind of info (which once again is quite normal for a mortgage app) then follow my lead, send photocopies of the documents, via Royal Mail recorded delivery.
