Problems are not bad things, problems can lead to answers, and answers can be good in many other ways than just solving the problem.

A big problem in the USA as the rail raods were constructed was communication between stations. Enter the Telegraph, which led to the telephone, which lead to the modem, which led to the internet.

not a bad thing if you think it started because a station master needed to know where a train was.
