Copeland BC Council election results 2015

Labour have a greatly reduced majority on Copeland Borough Council, well short of the two-thirds majority needed to over-rule the new directly-elected Mayor.

A simple majority on CBC is 26 councillors, and the Labour group now have 29. There are 17 Conservatives (up two) and five Independents (up three from the 2011 election.)

Conservative Keith Hitchin was elected unopposed in Bootle ward: election results in the other wards produced the following results:
