I did not think it was possible (well ok possible, but unlikely) that Ed Balls would lose his seat.

I have to say I am very happy to have been proven wrong on that.

Last one on the electon, its just too funny not to share.

A very good friend (who is a lifelong labour party member and voter) posted this to my facebook wall. Its one of the best ones he has ever sent.

he said "Jim King wakes to the news on Friday 8th May"

then added this picture

off topic sorry, but have you seen that Farage stood down, but will stand as a candidate for election to UKIP leadership in 4 months time.

In other words the leader of a party committed to leaving the EU is going to take a 4 month "holiday" right at the time a campaign to leave the EU has kicked off. you could not make this stuff up could you.

You know, THA, The Campaign for an Independent Britain, the Bruges Group, and EU referendum are all good to go, and its all hands on deck right now. Farage pulls a fast one, takes a break and plans to worm back in once all the work is done and try to mess things up.

like I say, the biggest enemy to leaving the EU is not the Europhiles, that is a fight we can win. No the biggest enemy we have by a long shot is ironically UKIP

That screenshot with those captions are too hilarious for words.

Perhaps we should start calling you Jim "Emperor Palpatine" King, but do you think there is any danger of Jamie Reed trying to throw you into a nuclear reactor when Moorside is built?

Well, its possible. But I will be glad of it, in that at least it was built.
