Keith Wood RIP
Honorary Alderman Keith Wood, who was a councillor on St Albans City and District Council from 1974 to 1984, and before that a member of one of the predecessor authorities, has died in Norfolk at the age of 84.
He was chairman of Planning in St Albans, and served three years as Chairman of St Albans Conservatives after stepping down from the council.
I will always remember him for his shrewd judgement, dry humour, and unshakeable loyalty to his colleagues.
Rest in Peace.
