Quote of the day 12th April 2016
Lieutenant Thomas Kinago, who is human, and Ensign DE576-OA, ("Dee" for short) who is a repair robot, are repairing and replacing failed elements in a spaceship's microcircuitry using a variety of techniques including millions of "nanites" or microrobots.
Thomas Kinago "Dee, how many nanites does it take to change a light bulb?"
Dee "LED, incandescent, halogen, or compact fluorescent?"
Thomas (laughing) "Well that teaches me to experiment in LAI humour."
(When the shift ends)
Dee "Thomas, how many nanites does it take to change a lightbulb?"
Thomas "I don't know, I lost count after the first million."
(From Jody Lyn Nye's novel, "Fortunes of the Imperium")
