"Vote Leave" and BSE designated as official Leave and Remain campaigns
The electoral commission has just announced that "Vote Leave" will be the official lead campaign for "Leave" and that "Britain Stronger in Europe" will be the official lead "Remain" campaign.
I'm sorry that the Leave Alliance does not appear to have been in a position to apply for the leave designation and I hope that Vote Leave will take some of the ideas on board.
Here are the Electoral Commissions statement of the reasons for the decision and their scorecard. Looks like it was fairly close between "Vote Leave" and GO:
The link doesn't work on the above screen grab but this link to the EU referendum page on the electoral commission website does.

"On a cold winter morning, in the time before the light
In flames of death's eternal reign we ride towards the fight
When the darkness has fallen down, and the times are tough all right
The sound of evil laughter falls around the world tonight.
Fighting hard, fighting on for the steel, through the wastelands evermore
The scattered souls will feel the hell bodies wasted on the shores
On the blackest plains in hell's domain, we watch them as we go
In fire and pain, and once again we know.
So now we fly ever free
We're free before the thunderstorm
On towards the wilderness our quest carries on
Far beyond the sundown, far beyond the moonlight
Deep inside our hearts and all our souls
So far away we wait for the day
For the lives all so wasted and gone
We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days
Through the fire and the flames we carry on"
