Proposed A595 improvements at Grizeback

During his visit to Copeland on Friday, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling spoke about a number of other proposed improvements to the transport system besides the Whitehaven relief road. These included both rail and road improvements.

In addition to the Whitehaven Relief Road consultation which he launched and which formally opens tomorrow, there is also a current consultation about improving the A595 at the Grizebeck bottleneck.

There is a drop-in-meeting about this tomorrow (7th November 2018 from 3pm to 7pm at Grizebeck Community hall)
