Standing firm against Putin's aggression
Today the Prime Minister will call for Europe to stand firm against Russian aggression at the European Leaders’ meeting in Prague, driving international action on the UK’s priorities.
- Europe is facing its biggest crisis since the Second World War – we must continue to stand firm to ensure that Ukraine wins this war, but also to deal with the strategic challenges that it has exposed.
- That is why the Prime Minister will today attend the meeting of leaders from across Europe – to shore up support for Ukraine, while also galvanising action on energy security and migration.
- This will help to address the fundamental causes of the issues we face – delivering on the priorities of the British people.
