Quote of the day for 4th June 2015 from 4th June 1940
"We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender."
(Winston Churchill's defiant speech in the House of Commons on the day the final allied soldiers were rescued from the beaches of Dunkirk, 75 years ago today)

One of the greatest speeches ever.
its a few weeks ago I discussed "little Europe" and can show you what I mean here.
We can see Peter Wilding of British Influence writes in the Telegraph where he is framing the referendum as a choice between Great Britain in Europe or Little England.
The true choice, however, is more like Little Europe or Global Britain.
if we stay in we remain stuck in little Europe. Its all about understanding that almost every so called "evil" EU regulation, never stems from the EU, It stems from Global organisations like UNICE, where we are represented by the EU so have 1/28th of the vote, Norway on the other hand have a seat.
You see its more and more and more, that the EU only package and roll out the regulations, the regulations themselves are global. So whilst you keep hearing from members of the "no" side that we can cut regulation, the reality of it is that we cant, thats what I mean by fighting your own side, if only we could get to the enemy instead.
What we can do is re take our seat at the top tables and influence how they are formed.
should the UK leave the EU and remain a single market member (EFTA+EEA) route that is what we would do, we would simply have no say in how its packaged or the time in which its rolled out. We would however have a veto, which means we dont have to abide by it (like norway did with the postal directive) we currently can not do that
anyway, its quite early days (but with only 30 months to go to the referendum) then its not a time to time wasting (it took 5 years in Norway to plan the no campaign that did win) its do able, but we have to keep on track, thats why I moan so much about the "friendly fire" not helping.
