Yes. It follows logically from the idea that nobody is above the law, but I agree with you that the law and constitution should reflect the principle that the people are sovereign.

yes, no one is above the law, the law is made by the sovereign people as a whole, not by the individual. No one is above the law, and no one is denied its protection.

much like you may end up in prison for not paying your council tax, which is the current law, you would also go to prison for claiming expenses to which you were not entitled. I dont care how much money or "influence" is involved and there is no "parliamentary privilage" when someone has broken the law and stolen money from the taxpayer.

No one, is above the law of the people, not even Her Maj
