Priti Patel writes - 2 million jobs created since 2010

   

It's just been announced that 2 MILLION JOBS have been created since 2010.

That's an amazing number, but it's not some dry, meaningless statistic - it's 2 million more people with the security of a pay packet; 2 million more families able to look forward to a brighter future.

It's no mystery why our economy is creating jobs: it's because of the hard work of the British people, and because of the measures David Cameron has put in place to back businesses and build a stronger, healthier economy.

Ed Miliband and the SNP would put all that at risk. Their plans for more borrowing, more debt and more taxes would mean chaos for Britain, and cost jobs.

We have to stop them.

Miliband and the snp. Didn´t Ed rule out a coalition with the snp due to them not ruling out a second Scottish referendum?

Though I would be at all surprised if he 'forgets´ that if he gets whiff of a chance of power.

Quote of the day 24th July 2020

I was moved to put the passage below forward as a quote today when I saw a horrible post on twitter from someone writing that it was "excellent" that someone who took a different view from her about Brexit had died. I won't write which way round it was so that all the Remain supporters can assume the post was from a Brexit fanatic welcoming the death of a remainer and all the Leavers can assume it was a Remainiac welcoming one less Brexiteer. There's been plenty of nasty stuff on both sides but if you catch anyone of your own viewpoint  posting something like that who might listen to you, please do call them out on it - and point out that they're giving everyone on your side of the argument a bad name.
