Common Sense prevails for now on Doctor's contracts

I am very relieved that the BMA has listened to the Royal Colleges, General Medical Council and to representatives of patients and called off next week's planned strikes by Junior Doctors.

Common sense and compassion has prevailed.

Now we need to get both the government and the representatives of doctors back round the table and try to reach an agreement in the interests of patients.
