I cant help but sense plotting from the tory back benches at the moment. I really do get the sense of us and them between the cabinet and the party, well actually between number 10 and the party. Not quite as strong as the smell was just prior to IDS granted, but its there.
Starmer is no risk to Jonhson, sure he is more competent than Corbyn, but who isnt? he still has no credible shadow cabinet and has a mountain to climb at the next election. So the oposition are no risk to him, but ask Maggie or IDS where the knives come from when you are at the front of the tory party.
Is it malice on the part of the tory backbenches, or is it stupidity from Johnson? either way, I think his PM days are numbered.

There are some subjects on which everything in both the mainstream media and social media should always be taken with buckets of salt, and one of them is internal disputes within the Conservative party.

There is always plotting on the Conservative back-benches.

Is it more serious than usual?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong.
