Boris Johnson holds meeting with Canadian and Dutch Prime Ministers

Today the Prime Minister hosted the Canadian and Dutch Prime Ministers as Britain announced more support for Ukraine and urged world leaders to mount a renewed effort to make sure that Putin fails.

  • Today, as the Prime Minister commences a week of engagement with international leaders, he held a meeting and joint press conference with the Canadian and Dutch Prime Ministers to continue championing the international response for Ukraine.
  • Britain has also announced an additional $100 million in support for Ukraine through the World Bank – building on the UK aid already reaching those who need it most and supporting the Ukrainian Government.
  • While only Putin can fully end the suffering in Ukraine, the new funding announced today will continue to help those facing the deteriorating humanitarian situation.
