"With just two months to go until the most important election in a generation, I have a big message for everyone in Britain:
Be proud. Be proud of what we've done together these past five years.
We took an economy that was stuck in a Great Recession and turned it into the fastest-growing economy in the world. Be proud of that....
We took 1,000 people every single day and got them back to work - with all the hope and security and peace of mind a job brings. Be proud of that.
We've given a tax cut to 26 million hardworking people - the people who grow our food, who work in our companies, who teach in our schools, who care in our hospitals, who serve on our streets, who fight in our armed forces - all of them with more money in their pockets. Be proud of that.
And when I look around the Cabinet table, I can put my hand on my heart and say 'Britain is in safe hands.'
At a time when Russian aggression is mounting in the East, and Ukraine is being torn apart - we're in safe hands.
At a time when we've got jihadists waging brutal war in Iraq and terrorists plot to hurt us here at home - we're in safe hands.
At a time when our economy could be knocked sideways by a Greek exit from the Eurozone - we're in safe hands.
In uncertain times, we are in safe hands. And in 61 days' time, the future of the country is in your hands.
You will decide who's in charge. Who represents us.
Who fights for a better deal round the table in Brussels. Who goes into vital talks on Russia and Ukraine. Who takes long-term decisions about the future of our economy. Who makes the calls to keep us safe from Islamist extremism.
You will decide whose hands are on the steering wheel.
It can only be me as Prime Minister - or Ed Miliband as Prime Minister. That is up to you. The country is in your hands.
