West Cumberland maternity report delayed
Publication of a controversial report into maternity services in Cumbria's hospitals, which might have a decisive effect on whether maternity services are still offered at West Cumberland Hospital, has been delayed.
An independent review by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists into maternity services throughout Cumbria had originally been expected to be completed by the end of February, but it is now thought likely to be finished in March.
