Coronavirus diary, Day 115.

Had a meal out with my family today for the first time in three months, supporting one of the many excellent local West Cumbrian restaurants. With, of course, carefully organised social distancing measures and appropriate precautious in place.

A little different from Pre-Covid-19 normal with the tables further apart, staff wearing face masks, hand-sanitiser at the entrance etc but it is important to take this sort of measure both for public confidence and to keep everyone safe. I gather that in the near future all the food will be ordered via an App.

It's going to be difficult for all these establishments around the country, but really good to see them up and running again - and good to see that they are making every effort to keep people safe.

Keep Well,
