Sean for Shap
Been out today with Cumbria Conservatives, Penrith and the Border Conservatives and several volunteers from other parts of the North who came to support Sean Quinn, the excellent Conservative candidate in the Shap ward by election for a vacant seat on Eden District Council.
Sean is a great young person who cares about affordability of homes and creating more and higher paid jobs which will give young people in the area a future. He also supports Shap swimming pool and the 106 bus.
Among other things we were delivering a letter from the outgoing councillor, John Owen MBE, explaining to residents why he resigned and supporting Sean to be the new representative for Shap on Eden DC.
We've been getting a positive response and I wish Sean Quinn all the best in the election.
