June meeting of Cumbria County Council

The next meeting of Cumbria County Council will take place in the council chamber at County Hall, Kendal, on Thursday 27 June 2019 at 10.00 am. the meeting will be open to the public (for those residents whose employment and other circumstances allow them to travel to Kendal and spend a good part of a working day there.)

I live in hopes that one day we will follow the example of more forward-thinking and modern authorities and live-stream the proceedings.

8. 2018/19 REVENUE AND CAPITAL BUDGET MONITORING REPORT - SUMMARY OF YEAR END POSITION AND 2019/20 CAPITAL BUDGET UPDATE
To consider a report from the Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Finance

10. APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT REMUNERATION PANEL
To consider a recommendation from the Leader of the Council in respect of the appointment of the Independent Panel on remuneration (e.g. the body which advises on councillors' allowances etc)

11. APPOINTMENTS TO COMMITTEES - CUMBRIA POLICE AND CRIME PANEL
To consider a report from the Leader of the Council (copy enclosed)

12. PUBLIC HEALTH ANNUAL REPORT (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
To consider a report and receive a presentation from the Director of Public Health about the effects through life of adverse experiences in childhood.

13. 2018/19 ANNUAL REPORT OF THE CUMBRIA FIRE LOCAL PENSION BOARD 
To consider a report from the Cabinet Member for Customers, Transformation and Fire and Rescue

14. SCRUTINY UPDATE REPORT 

15. Questions 
To consider questions from Councillors to the Leader, members of the Executive or the Chair of any Committee.

I have slightly modified this post to reflect the fact that the Public Health report is specifically about Adverse Childhood Experiences.
