Fixing potholes and growing the economy
Conservatives are investing £200 million of new funding to fix four million potholes across the country, mending roads to improve day to day journeys and grow the economy.
- People should be able to get to work and to see friends and family without fear of damaging their vehicles due to poor quality roads.
- That is why we are investing £200 million of new funding to fix four million potholes across the country, on top of the £2.7 billion committed between 2022-25.
- This funding will support local authorities to deliver quality services for people, improve day to day journeys and continue to grow the economy.
