Second quote of the day 13th August 2022

"What is freedom of expression? Without the freedom to offend, it ceases to exist"

(Sir Salman Rushdie)

The attack on Rushdie was an attack on every free society and on all of us.

And as long as it fails to unequivocally renouce the Fatwa against him, cancel and ban the reward for his assassination and indeed confiscate the reward money which was raised to pay anyone who assassinates him and hand it over as compensation to Rushdie and others injured of the families of those killed as a result of the Fatwa, Iran has set itself apart from all civilised nations and must be treated as a sponsor of terrorism and as a rogue and pariah state.
