The UK's new permanent representative to NATO

Today the Prime Minister announced Britain's new Permanent Representative to NATO, and reiterated the UK's steadfast commitment to the Alliance on the 73rd anniversary of its foundation.

  • Britain is the leading European contributor to NATO – the greatest security alliance in the history of the world, bound by an enduring shared belief in freedom and sovereignty.
  • That is why the Prime Minister has appointed his senior foreign policy advisor, David Quarrey, as the UK’s new Permanent Representative to NATO. We have deployed more troops, ships, and aircraft to protect our allies, and provided weapons to the people of Ukraine which are helping to turn the tide in Putin’s brutal war.
  • As Putin continues his campaign of violence and aggression against the people of Ukraine, we and our allies will continue to give then everything they need to face down his barbarism.
