Coronavirus diary, day 76

Interesting day

Finally managed to get a car taken away to be fixed which I had bought earlier on the same day Boris announced the lockdown, and which developed an engine fault five minutes after being driven out of the showroom.

Because of the COVID-19 situation it had spent the intervening two and a half months sitting useless on my drive.

The car it was bought to replace has also been sitting useless on my drive because I have not been in a position to try to sell it because of COVID-19.

Mind you, for the same reason, I have not needed either vehicle much.

There are plenty of people for whom the pandemic has bought far worse problems.

Baby steps still being taken towards relaxing the lockdown; Praying they get it right. There are no easy answers.

Keep well.

Stay alert - control the virus - save lives.
