Grenfell three years on

Today marks the three-year anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, and the government is working to deliver meaningful change so that a disaster like this never happens again.

  • The fire at Grenfell Tower was an awful tragedy – we are still dealing with the consequences of what happened and the government is working to make sure nothing like that can ever happen again.

  • The safety of residents is our top priority, which is why the government is implementing some of the biggest changes to fire and building safety regulations in a generation, and have been working tirelessly with councils to identify buildings at risk and ensuring they are made safe to live in.

  • This will ensure that the lives lost and changed forever in the Grenfell Tower fire will never be forgotten, and will help bring about meaningful change so that residents know they are always safe in their homes.
