The law of unintended consequences strikes again
I didn't need too much persuading that it would not be a good idea to drive between my two eye surgeries or for a while afterwards until given the all clear. But if I had been in any doubt about this, the difficulty I just had persuading blogger that I am not a robot and letting me put a comment on here would have done so.
Failed four times to pass one of their nine pictures quizzes - I didn't even attempt to answer the first question "identify all images with a cactus" and then failed three times to identify all images with street signs.
Hence my comment about the law of unintended consequences - a test designed to stop spambots making life difficult for people with visual problems. I think there was a sound option, but I managed to find a test I could pass before working my was round to that.
A bit annoying having such difficulty posting a two word comment but it emphasized an important lesson - if I had been in any doubt about the wisdom of advice not to try driving a car until cleared to do so after surgery, I would have none now.
